around West Ealing are God sent. I have bought countless number of books from and yesterday saw me purchasing another 5. Two Wilbur Smith, one Stephen King, and two by Rose Tremain. All for £6.75.

Books are invaluable to me. The tube journey to the center of London takes about 30 minutes and can seem an eternity without a book. I travel to the center 6 days a week. And of course, the journey back takes just as long!

are pretty cool. I simply had to purchase a pair today. I had been putting it off for weeks as I thought better to save money I don’t have than to spend credit on something if I could do without. But I had 2 songs to mix and the Pioneers I am using are Hi-Fi speakers and have not a clear window into the mid-range frequency. I need to hear the details to enable a good mix.

After much dithering on the street outside the shop, I decided to audition them. They sounded different to what I’d been used to and was unsure as to it’s suitability but was glad to be able to hear the detail on Timbaland’s kick drum.

I bought them and shortly found myself grappling with two plastic bags, each weighing 7.5Kgs(16.5 pounds). I was glad to get home.

I’ve been mixing with them now for the last 5 hours. It feels like some wool and razor blades have been removed and my ears are no longer sonically assaulted.

They are pretty cool and doing a great job!
