and reinstalled MacOsX. The same problem remains. I cannot select any file for upload. Hmmmm…….

It’s a sweltering hot day. Up to 30ºC. It is already too hot in my room and it will get hotter. It is an attic room with no roof insulation. Therefore, hot in Summer, cold in Winter. I will go out for the afternoon. I will brave a tube ride to Piccadilly Circus and visit the Abercrombie & Fitch store. I need some army cargo shorts. I’ve seen some nice dark olive ones. Then on to get some sandals. Or very well ventilated sneakers. Or leather ones without lining. Yes, I need them! Or perish in the heat!

Yesterday, I was granted the task of purchasing 2 fans for the shop. I went to Argos in Oxford Street. They were sold out of all models of fans. I walked up Tottenham Court Road. Not a fan in sight! Save for the ones in use. I walked a westerly direction on Oxford Street and into an electrical shop called “MacDonald’s”! “Do you have any fans?” I asked without much enthusiasm. “Why, of course we do!” came a bemused reply. £49.90 later, I made my way back to the shop, boxed fans in hands, soaked from head to underwear with perspiration, jeans clinging uncomfortably effectively retaining the moist heat, feeling like a sweaty old beast from hell.

and I can already feel the heat of the day. The last couple of days have been hot and humid and working in the shop has been sweltering work. I’m working today as well and am contemplating shorts. I tried it yesterday but wearing boots with them did not work. Not that I was trying to be fashionable, just that my sneakers stink so bad.

My love goes out to all my friends across the pond especially one who has been a friend from young. In this time of change there is a lot to learn about life.

My computer is acting up. The same as before. It won’t allow me to select files. I will have to wipe my hard disk and start from scratch.

it is today and I’ve not been out yet. Just had lunch of pitta bread, banana and organic peanut butter with nowt added, which translates to crushed peanuts!

I managed to get the uploads going again. I copied thingies on the desktop to an external hard disc and removed them from the desktop. It seems that Apple doesn’t like it when there’s only 3Gb left on it’s hard disc!

So I’ve uploaded a pic of the fingerpicks to yesterday’s post and this pic of me and a fresh buzz haircut, something I perform every fortnight as I can’t stand it any longer as it makes my receding hairline more obvious! Yes, vanity is me! But not entirely as if was the case, I would not have allowed disclosure of those bags under my eyes. Yes, I need more beauty sleep!

Ok, back to some work now. I won’t feel good unless I get a few hours work done.

more sleep of late. I haven’t yet kipped in but will do so this morning. No alarm, just sleep as much as possible. But still, I’ve lotsa things to do.

Yesterday (yes, it’s 01:28) was a sweltering hot day with a temperature of 28ºC. Ok, not the hottest, but hot for London. I took some minutes to rest on a park bench then was bitten by the bug to get things done. I’m quite a busy person these days…..

The gig at Edward’s tonight was ok. 6/10!

I am certainly gonna play with fingers now. It’s so much easier for me to feel and deliver the vocals. I will experiment with thumbpicks and fingerpicks at some stage in the future when I get my hands on the Fred Kelly Freedom Finger picks. I will be able to strike the strings with my “fingernails” then…..

I’ve been trying to upload pics, but unfortunately there is something awry. My computer displays the “spinning wheel of death” whenever I select the file….. Oh well……..

I was somewhat taken aback by the news on Michael Jackson. He was an extremely talented being. May his spirit flourish.
